Fall 2021
UX Designer
During Fall 2021, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with MDVIP, a South Florida-based company that's transforming the future of health-care.
The objective? To help them improve upon the design of their mobile app, MDVIP Connect, which they felt could be more user-friendly as per some of the suggestions provided by their customers.
I started by analyzing the current feedback users had provided about their experience using the app -- such as the 120+ App Store reviews on MDVIP Connect. That gave me some insights as to what the app excelled at, and what aspects of it we could focus on improving next.
In addition, I conducted a heuristic analysis of the app to make some of my own conclusions as to where I personally felt the app could use improvement.
In addition, given that the app targeted elderly mobile users, I researched some ways to design the app around the needs of the elderly.
With all this information at hand, I set about making some designs. I started with some paper sketches — 12 in total — to lay out the foundation, then made high-fidelity mockups on Figma.
The resulting designs — which comprised of 36 mockup screens and prototypes — showed a vision for the app that would help MDVIP to empower their customers more than with their current design, and gave a clear visual of how the new app design would look, feel, and work.
While the details of the work are classified, I'd be happy to chat more about the process of my experience over email.
